Loved this episode. Good to have constant reminders to keep pushing to communicate better instead of getting fired up. So simple, yet so hard. Gonna let this episode make a difference in my life.

Channeling this in my response: “In the 1990 Cheers episode "What is... Cliff Clavin?", Cliff Clavin's final Jeopardy question was "Who are people who have never been in my kitchen?". Cliff's answer was incorrect, but he later offered to provide proof that the people had never been in his kitchen.”

Good stuff. That guy seems down-to-earth. These days, my crippling fear and unhinged rage only shows up when I convince myself that some policy/person/group is coming for my money, so I keep a tight grip and it passes. Otherwise I'm like an inanimate object. People can just tell me stuff and I hear them out. It's more fun that way, and not to be sentimental, but I think it's kind of a privilege when a friend or family member tells you the nitty-gritty of why they believe whatever they believe. It shows trust.

Absolutely. Some of the most interesting content out there, too. The more open you are, the stranger it gets. Fascinating.

It’s audio. You can just listen to it (and I have his book if you want it)
